My work, explores systems such as our relationship with the climate and consumer goods. Currently I am using three-dimensional collage and photography to investigate struggle as a force in the world.

My work has been exhibited nationally, in venues including The Chicago Cultural Center, the State of Illinois Gallery, the Betsy Rosenfield and Kline Galleries, the Detroit Building, Maryhill Museum, and the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art.

I have an MFA in printmaking from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art.

Currently I teach at Portland State University. Other places I have taught are the University of California, Davis and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Community and art education projects I have led or been a part of include Gallery 37, Orlo, Cascadia Forest Alliance, Willamette Riverkeepers, and PSU Recycles.
